Amazon Blink is seeking a Mobile Application Engineer to join our mobile development team. You will develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components while collaborating with product and UX teams to produce maintainable features and improve app performance.

• Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices.
• Develop features which are used by millions of customers each day.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways.
• Regularly work with backend developers to help support app integrations with backend services.
• Write well tested code using modern architectural principles.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with cloud message APIs and client server interactions such as REST APIs, socket communication, web sockets. Experience with CI/CD, automated unit testing, and integration testing
