Amazon Blink team, formerly Blink by Blink, is seeking an Application Builder to contribute to the Blink mobile app and backend. You will work on mobile features, UX flows, and UI components, collaborating with product and UX teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable features.

You will apply modern Android/iOS development practices (Kotlin, MVVM, Swift, SwiftUI) and participate in code reviews, testing, and cross-functional planning.

As an Application Builder on the Blink Subs + ai development team, you'll directly contribute to the Blink mobile application and backend to grow the subscription business through subscription + ai features. As part of a cross-functional agile team you will:

• Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop and maintain features
• Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance

• Work along-side other app developers and help raise the mobile app development bar
• Work with modern Android development tools and principles such as Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, MVVM, Hilt, Room, etc.
• Work with modern iOS Development tools and principles such as Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swiftlint, GRDB, etc.

• Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices.
• Develop features which are used by millions of customers each day.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways.
• Regularly work with internal dependencies and partner teams to support new initiatives.
• Write well tested code using modern architectural principles.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with AWS services, REST APIs, CI/CD, automated unit testing, and integration testing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
