Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mobile Applications Application Builder to contribute to the Blink platform. You will develop features, UX flows, and UI components, collaborating with product and UX teams to deliver maintainable features and ensure high performance.

You will work with Android and iOS development stacks (Kotlin, Swift) and coordinate with backend teams to integrate services. A strong SDLC background and modern testing practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience non-internship in professional software development.
• Experience with at least one modern language (Java, C++, or C#) and OO design.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

As part of the mobile development team, you'll directly contribute to the Blink mobile platform and work to make the customer experience the best it can be. As part of a cross-functional agile team you will:

• Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components

Key job responsibilities

Blink is looking for a Mobile Application Engineer to join our mobile application team.

You will:

• Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop maintainable features
• Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance
• Work along-side other app developers and help raise the mobile app development bar
• Work with modern Android development tools and principles such as Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, MVVM, Hilt, Room, etc.
• Work with modern iOS Development tools and principles such as Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swiftlint, GRDB, etc.

A day in the life

As an Application Builder at Blink, you will:

• Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices.
• Develop features which are used by millions of customers each day.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways.
• Regularly work with backend developers to help support app integrations with backend services.
• Write well tested code using modern architectural principles.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
