Amazon Lab126 is seeking a software/firmware engineer to build world-class customer features on Amazon devices and services. You will adopt AI tools to accelerate delivery, work with cross-functional teams, and tackle design challenges around multi-radio coexistence and system performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (patterns, reliability, scaling) experience.
• Experience programming with at least one language.
• Knowledge of ARM CPUs.
• Knowledge of ML and LLM fundamentals, transformer architectures, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Key job responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

• Create world class software and firmware to customer features on Amazon devices and services.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Knowledge of ARM CPUs
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
