Job summary

BluePath Labs is hiring multiple mid-level Application and Automation Developers for on-site roles in Washington, DC. The team will develop and maintain workflow applications, web tools, integrations, scripts, and approved AI capabilities for a federal client.

Developers will translate business requirements into maintainable solutions, produce reusable components, and provide engineering support for portfolio tools.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• 4+ years of relevant development experience.
• Experience in application or workflow development, APIs, integrations, maintainable code, version control, testing, release documentation, and operational support.
• Ability to translate business needs into usable solutions and independently develop, test, document, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned applications, integrations, or automations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain workflow applications, web tools, integrations, scripts, and approved AI capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into usable, maintainable solutions.
• Provide reusable components and engineering support for portfolio tools.
• Independently develop, test, document, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned applications, integrations, or automations.
• Use version control and participate in code reviews.
• Prepare release documentation and provide operational support for assigned solutions.
• Coordinate incident resolution, configuration and change control, and handoffs with Development Lead, support staff, client IT, and other contractors.
