BluePath Labs in Washington, DC is seeking multiple mid-level Application and Automation Developers to design and maintain workflow applications, web tools, and AI-enabled components. You will translate business needs into maintainable solutions and collaborate with the Development Lead and IT teams to ensure reliable operations. Responsibilities include coding, testing, documenting, releasing software, handling incidents, and performing handoffs.

U.S. citizenship required; TS/SCI preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant development experience.
• Experience in application or workflow development, APIs, integrations, version control, testing, release documentation, and operational support.

Application and Automation Developer (Multiple Openings)

Location: Onsite - Washington, DC

Clearance: No active clearance required; TS/SCI preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $80,500 - $109,250

We are seeking candidates for multiple Mid-level Application and Automation Developer positions supporting a federal client. These developers will develop and maintain workflow applications, web tools, integrations, scripts, and approved artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. They will translate business requirements into maintainable solutions and provide reusable components and engineering support for portfolio tools.

Successful candidates will independently develop, test, document, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned applications, integrations, or automations. Responsibilities include using version control, participating in code reviews, preparing release documentation, and providing operational support. Developers will coordinate incident resolution, configuration and change control, and operational handoffs with the Development Lead, support staff, client IT, and other contractors.

U.S. citizenship is required. An active clearance is not required at the time of application; however, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. TS/SCI eligibility or an active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in application or workflow development, APIs, integrations, maintainable code, version control, testing, release documentation, and operational support
• Ability to translate business needs into usable solutions and independently develop, test, document, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned applications, integrations, or automations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant bachelor's degree or permitted equivalent
• TS/SCI eligibility or an active TS/SCI clearance.
