Job description

The Application Analyst Senior provides expert-level technical support for complex clinical and/or business applications to enhance performance and meet organizational needs. Working independently, this role analyzes user needs, implements, optimizes, supports, and troubleshoots applications. The senior also mentors lower-level team members on complex issues.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with technical and end-user groups to ensure applications meet organizational needs during system development and implementation.
2. Conducting expert-level analysis of workflows, data collection, and reporting, translating clinical and business functionalities into system configurations and workflows.
3. Planning and executing various testing phases, documenting results, and managing change control processes.
4. Providing advanced support and troubleshooting for complex applications, monitoring data quality and system performance, and escalating issues as needed.
5. Staying updated on new technical concepts and their healthcare applications, supporting third-party system implementation.
6. Ensuring integration of applications with other organizational systems.
7. Leading and managing projects or project tasks as assigned.
8. Performing additional duties as required.

   Qualifications:

   • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
   • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in related roles.
   • Licensure/Certification: Platform-specific certification if applicable.
