Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking an entry-level Application Analyst I to support application systems and databases, participate in projects, and maintain documentation. The role emphasizes platform health, reliability work, and collaborative problem solving in a healthcare IT environment.

Responsibilities include supporting change management, meeting SLAs, and contributing to project planning while pursuing Epic Certification within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification preferred at hire, required within 12 months.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with health system EHRs and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and follow a project plan.

Responsibilities

• Maintain application systems and databases with a focus on maintenance.
• Participate in reliability projects and standard work.
• Lead at least one project per year and support release management.
• Ensure health of applications and adherence to on-call downtime standards.
• Engage in continued education and contribute to capacity planning.
