Montefiore Application Analyst - Epic Team

Location & Requirements: Employees must reside in NY, NJ, CT, or PA and be immunized, including for COVID.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain clinical documentation workflows for inpatient services (Nursing, respiratory, behavioral health, nutrition, social work, ancillary clinicians).
2. Maintain outpatient department workflows for Dialysis & Nutrition.
3. Analyze application modifications needed.
4. Collaborate with governance committees to develop Epic solutions, install new applications, components, and upgrades, and configure settings.
5. Implement changes effectively with application teams.
6. Support go-live and rollout processes.
7. Assess user needs and develop system specifications from requirements.
8. Create test plans and validate new systems, upgrades, and modifications.
9. Maintain documentation and training materials.
10. Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and support during rollouts.
11. Coordinate updates, suggest improvements, and monitor systems proactively.
12. Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
13. Support on-site operations within Montefiore Health System as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of inpatient workflows.
• Epic certification in Inpatient Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc).
• At least 2 years of clinical or business experience.
• Experience with application/system implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Understanding of SDLC.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in Epic Clinical documentation tools and Text utilities.
• Epic certifications in ClinDoc, Orders, or Ambulatory.
• Programming skills.
• Meeting all Epic certification requirements is mandatory for employment.
