Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Broadcasting/Video Production
Instruct classes in broadcast audio, radio and television production in the Broadcast Media Technology program.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Classroom and/or online instruction in the discipline.
- Knowledgeable in the discipline and provide high-quality instruction.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and integration of appropriate teaching practices for different learning styles.

- Computer use, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or other required programs, Blackboard, and Owens email.
Abilities
- Integrate a variety of methodologies to facilitate student learning.
- Understand the needs of community college students.
- Manage a classroom, including organizing and presenting material, designing lessons and activities that will facilitate student learning, and monitoring student behavior and performance.
- Follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Recognize students’ strengths and weaknesses in the discipline and provide feedback to facilitate their learning.
- Evaluate student work fairly using Department guidelines.
Essential Functions
- Lecture and guidance of classroom discussions.
- Supervision and evaluation of class projects and student work.

Minimum Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional schooling and professional experience.
- Certifications and/or experience in broadcasting/video production software such as Adobe Premiere, Edius, and Final Cut Pro.
- Further consideration for candidates with experience in TV production, video production, radio production, or those currently working in a related field.

- United States of America (Exempt) Pay Basis: Period Activity Pay.
