Best Buy is looking for a Retail Sales Specialist in the appliances department. You will learn customer needs, provide excellent service, perform product demos and recommend solutions, becoming an expert on kitchen and laundry appliances.

You will engage with customers, complete transactions, and strive to meet sales goals while staying informed on latest trends and products through ongoing training. A strong emphasis on time management and teamwork guides daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields.
• 1 year of experience selling in premium products, luxury brands and/or custom design environments.
• 1 year of experience in customer relationship management (CRM).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the appliances department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals
• Stay informed about the latest technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development
• Handle customer inquiries, complains and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively
• Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers
• Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department
