Pepperdine University on the Malibu campus is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial appliances and kitchen equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and maintain accurate CMMS records, contributing to safe, reliable dining services.

Candidates should have 3+ years of refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting experience, with CMMS proficiency and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years with refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, gas appliances, and food-service equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics, steam systems, and electronic controls.
• Experience using a CMMS (preferably TMA or WebTMA).
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial appliances and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Install new appliances per manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Maintain records in WebTMA; communicate issues and solutions clearly.
• Keep tools, parts, and vehicle organized and in good condition.
• Stay updated on industry standards and new technologies.
• Manage materials, parts, and inventory for emergencies.
• Uphold safety policies and university guidelines.
