Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to perform in-home repairs of major appliances from a company vehicle dispatched from your home. You will diagnose, repair, and service laundry and kitchen appliances at the customer's residence, using a tablet and company resources.

Responsibilities include ordering parts, providing quotes, completing electronic work orders, and communicating with the office team to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Pass PlusOne screening including background check, drug test, and license check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• EPA Sealed System Certification a plus.

As an Appliance Service Technician, you are a key member of the team responsible for quality, efficient in-home repairs of Major Appliances. Start each day being dispatched from your home in a company vehicle. Cell-phone, tablet, support team, and many other resources also provided.

Responsibilities

• In-Home repair of Major Appliances
• Accurately diagnose and repair laundry and kitchen appliances in the customer's home
• Research and order repair parts needed on a company-supplied tablet device
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Complete work orders electronically with description of work performed using tablet.
• Good communication with office and team members utilizing text, phone, Microsoft Teams, email, etc.

Qualifications

• Pass an industry standard PlusOne employment screening, which includes:
• Criminal Background Check
• Drug Test
• Driver's License Check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency to navigate computer and tablet-based technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform repair work under varied circumstances
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• EPA Sealed System Certification a plus!

• Warranty Appliance repair: 2 years (Required)
• Schematics: 2 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification

• Driver's License (Required)
• EPA Type I (Preferred)
