Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to perform in-home repairs of major appliances. You will be dispatched from your home in a company vehicle each day, with a cell phone, tablet, and full support team provided.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing laundry and kitchen appliances on-site, researching parts via tablet, providing cost estimates, and completing electronic work orders. EPA Type I certification is a plus; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency to navigate computer and tablet-based technology.
• EPA Sealed System Certification is a plus; EPA Type I preferred.

• Research and order repair parts needed on a company-supplied tablet device
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed

• Good communication with office and team members utilizing text, phone, Microsoft Teams, email, etc.

Qualifications

• Pass an industry standard PlusOne employment screening, which includes:
• Criminal Background Check
• Drug Test
• Driver's License Check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency to navigate computer and tablet-based technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform repair work under varied circumstances
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• EPA Sealed System Certification a plus!
