We are seeking a motivated Appliance Factory Service Technician (FST) to perform in-home appliance repairs, providing excellent customer service during after-sales service to repair, protect, and replace appliances.

Hourly rates range from $24 to $34+ depending on experience, certification, and location.

Position Details

Location: Alexandria, VA, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair appliances in customers' homes
• Promote and sell service contracts and related products
• Operate a service van and record all activities
• Participate in training and meetings to stay current in industry knowledge
• Manage van maintenance and inventory
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and meet productivity goals
• Follow safety procedures at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license, background check, physical, and drug screening
• Willingness to obtain CFC Certification within 6 months

Preferred:

• Experience with refrigeration repair
• CFC Certification
• Certification in appliance repair or an associate degree
