Job summary

Express Employment on 61st and Center in Omaha, NE seeks an Appliance Service Technician to join a local company. The role is an Evaluation Hire with schedule 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday, and pay of $19/hour.

You will diagnose, repair, and install washing machines, perform routine maintenance, and explain repairs to customers. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of appliance repair experience (preferably washing machines), and a strong understanding of

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in appliance repair, specifically with washing machines.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and software diagnostics related to washing machines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with washing machines, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.
• Perform repairs on washing machines, including replacing faulty parts, reassembling machines, and testing for proper operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance on washing machines to prevent future breakdowns.
• Install new washing machines for customers, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Provide customers with detailed explanations of issues, repair processes, and preventive maintenance tips.
• Other duties as assigned.
