Job summary

Tri-Supply in Austin, TX is seeking an appliance showroom sales specialist to help convert in-store leads into purchases. You will engage with customers, explain appliance features, and guide them toward the best fit for their project.

Join a high-traffic 30k sq ft showroom with a strong commission-based pay structure and opportunities for professional growth. Experience in premium appliance sales is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Assist in-store customers with appliance selections and installations.
• Able to guide customers to the best purchase and close sales.
• Knowledge of appliance features to overcome objections.
• Willingness to learn about other product categories.
• 2–3 years experience in retail appliance sales preferred.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Appliances have been one of Tri-Supply’s major product categories for decades. We have 30+ Major brands to choose from as well as extensive displays in a high-traffic showroom environment. Our expanding Austin location is looking for an appliance showroom sales specialist to help assist with our ever-growing appliance in-store leads.

Skills and Experience Needed:

Assist in-store customers with everything from one-piece appliance replacements to full kitchens
Ability to guide customers to purchase
Command a knowledge of appliance features and benefits to guide sales and overcome objections
Not afraid to ask for the sale while making sure the customer is getting the best fit for their project
Solve problems quickly and make smart decisions that drive sales and customer service
Follow up on potential clients ultimately leading to sales
Assist in new home builder selections

Requirements:

Located in, or willing to relocate to the Austin, Texas area
Experience in Premium Appliance sales
Attend product knowledge training
Continuous learning and self-development with over 30 brands of major appliances as well as industry trends
Willingness to learn how to sell our other product categories (doors and hardware, moldings, lighting, outdoor grills, plumbing, etc.)
2-3 years experience in retail appliance sales preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent
College education or degree a plus
Bi-lingual a plus
