Job summary

Grassroots Talent Solutions in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician (sealed system preferred) to diagnose and repair kitchen and laundry appliances. You’ll provide high-quality maintenance services and clear estimates, while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll enjoy a no nights or weekends schedule, paid training through our Appliance Academy, bonuses and incentives, and a company vehicle and iPad to support field work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems.
• EPA certification and Sealed System Experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment such as Refrigerators, Ranges, Ovens, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Microwaves, etc...
• Provide cost estimates for repairs.
• Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed.
• Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials.
• Collect payment for work performed.

Responsibilities:

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are the key component in providing excellent customer service by providing high-quality maintenance services for our customer’s appliances.

Here are your primary responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment such as Refrigerators, Ranges, Ovens, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Microwaves, etc...
• Provide cost estimates for repairs.
• Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed.
• Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 18 years old

Benefits & Pay:

• The Minimum pay for this position is $20 per hour with potential to make well over $60 per hour, depending on your experience and and the job performance in appliance repairs. You will have the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions.
