Job summary

Via Appliance Repair is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician – Whirlpool Brand Specialist to perform in-home service and repairs across residential appliances. You will diagnose and fix refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, and microwaves, with emphasis on Whirlpool-brand systems and refrigeration sealed circuits.

The role offers a company-provided vehicle, competitive hourly pay with performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to diagnose and repair household appliances in customer homes.
• Experience working with Whirlpool brand or similar is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home service experiences for customers.
• Diagnose and repair major appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, and microwaves.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration sealed systems and diagnose issues remotely when possible.
• Educate customers on repairs, maintenance, and recommended parts.
• Utilize mobile technology to manage work orders in a paperless system.
• Stay current with evolving appliance and smart-home technology.
• Complete ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
• Safely operate company vehicle and present a professional appearance.
• Consistently deliver a 5-star customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with refrigeration sealed system repair
• Appliance repair experience preferred
• HVAC, electrical, or mechanical experience also considered
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently
• Willingness to continue learning and growing within the industry
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual skills are a plus
