Job summary

Lake Appliance Repair is hiring an Appliance Repair Technician to cover Boise and Treasure Valley. You will run your own route, service 8–12 appliances daily, and diagnose refrigerators, washers, dryers, and more across major brands.

The role offers a full-time field position with an hourly pay range of 22–26 plus performance bonuses, and a stocked company vehicle. We provide growth opportunities, training, and a family-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of appliance repair experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Strong customer service and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Run your own route of in-home service calls — typically 8–12 appliances a day.
• Diagnose and repair refrigerators, ice makers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges and microwaves.
• Install replacement parts and test for proper operation.
• Explain the problem and the repair to customers clearly and professionally.
• Document diagnostics, parts and repairs in our service software.
• Keep every customer's home clean and safe — booties on, work area left better than you found it.
• Stand behind our 90-Day Parts & 1-Year Labor Warranty and our 5-Star Service Guarantee.

We're growing in the Treasure Valley and looking for an experienced technician to run service calls across Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna and surrounding communities.

What You'll Do

• Run your own route of in-home service calls — typically 8–12 appliances a day
• Diagnose and repair refrigerators, ice makers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges and microwaves across major brands
• Install replacement parts and test for proper operation — our trucks carry commonly needed parts so most jobs get fixed in one trip
• Explain the problem and the repair to customers clearly and professionally
• Document diagnostics, parts and repairs accurately in our service software
• Keep every customer's home clean and safe — booties on, work area left better than you found it
• Stand behind our 90-Day Parts & 1-Year Labor Warranty and our 5-Star Service Guarantee

What You Bring

Required

• 1+ year of appliance repair experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (repeated every two years)
• Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance
• Lifting/carrying weight, kneeling, working in tight spaces

Preferred

• EPA 608 certification
• Factory training on Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE or Electrolux
• Sealed-system, electrical and schematic-reading experience
