The successful candidate will own backlogs, write stories and acceptance criteria, facilitate sessions, and deliver end-to-end workflows in a regulated financial services setting, partnering across business, operations, risk, and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years in business, analytics, digital product, transformation, or product ownership.
• Hands-on Appian experience building/configuring workflows, forms, interfaces, or reports.
• Experience in financial services or fintech in regulated environments.
• Experience as a product owner/business analyst/transformation lead in agile delivery.
• Ability to write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and release documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and improve business process workflows using Appian Designer with focus on speed, user-centric design, governance, and control.
• Partner with business product owners, operations leaders, technology, and risk to gather requirements and prioritize improvements.
• Own and manage product backlog items including stories, acceptance criteria, specs, and test scenarios.
• Lead stakeholder sessions to map current/future state workflows and drive alignment across teams.
• Identify opportunities to reuse capabilities and decide when to extend or create new solutions.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate discovery, documentation, prototyping, testing, and delivery communications.
• Focus on outcomes, applying design thinking, analytics, and continuous improvement.
• Support QA, UAT, regression testing, and production validation with well-defined test scenarios.
• Coordinate with technology on integration points, data dependencies, security, and production support.
• Stay current with Appian capabilities and governance; promote platform-first approach.
