Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking an Appian Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and operate a DoD-wide TCPED workflow platform. You will integrate off-the-shelf and custom components, leveraging cloud, AI/ML, and cross-domain systems to enable robust requirements management and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant DoD/govcon experience.
• 8+ years of prior relevant experience for Bachelor’s; 6+ years for Master’s.
• Experience with Appian and containerized deployments required.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
• Proven CI/CD experience (GitLab/Jenkins) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate a DoD TCPED workflow platform across environments.
• Collaborate with system integration engineers to release candidates to production.
• Integrate Appian with Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm; support DevOpsSec tooling.
• Maintain big data pipelines with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and microservices on Kubernetes.
• Monitor tests, manage project priorities, and ensure timely delivery.

Xcelerate Solution is seeking an Appian Software Developer To design, develop, deploy, and operat e a DoD-wide Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) workflow management platform. We integrate off the shelf and new development efforts to sustain and enhance existing architecture and by leveraging cloud-based computing, artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning (ML) and cross-domain transfer systems to provide cutting edge requirements management, task coordination, data exploitation, enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities. Responsibilities :

• Work with a team of system integration engineers to successfully deploy release candidates to production environment.
• Participate in test, staging and production deployment.
• Integrate container-based-Appian using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm and other DevOpsSec integration tools
• Assist in the maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline which includes Kafka, Elasticsearch, and several in house written python/java micro services running on Kubernetes
• Monitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and components
• Manage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
• Foster an environment of collaboration with the different team members in the goal of providing quality service and product to our customer
• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
• Must possess an Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
• Experience with Appian
• Experience with containerization
• Development and/or scripting experience, especially Python and Bash
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially Gitlab or Jenkins
• Experience with Agile practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic with the ability to work well on a team and a self-starter who can work on their own

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with systems at scale
• Kafka or other message passing systems
• Experience on a production/ enterprise system
• Cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience with any of the following technologies:
• Java
• Appian integration with PostgreSQL or other DB
• GraphQL
• Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash, specifically admin experience
• Helm and Helmfile
• Possess at least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification, e.g., CCNA Security, CySA +, Security+ CE, SSCP, CISSP (or Associate)
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification per DoD 8570 policy
