Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Appian Developer for a remote role supporting a mission-critical federal government solution. You will translate requirements into detailed designs and plan end-to-end Appian BPM solutions, with opportunities for hands-on development, demos, and architecture support.

Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens or eligible holders and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of overall experience with a relevant degree.
• Appian Level 1 or 2 Certification required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, and APIs.
• Experience with integrations with external systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to scope Appian projects and provide accurate estimates.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job description

Position Summary

Precise is seeking an Appian Developer to join our team supporting the development and maintenance of a mission-critical federal government solution. This is a remote position.

The Appian Developer will evaluate business requirements provided by system end users and business stakeholders, translate high-level requirements into detailed designs, and plan solutions using provided information and materials. Responsibilities will include the design, development, architecture, implementation, and support of end-to-end business applications on the Appian BPM platform.

Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or EAD/GC holders and must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance (must have resided in US for at least the last 3 yrs).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and?roadmap. Work with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems or the data warehouse into the transactional database.
• Work with IT leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the future IT roadmap.
• Able to contribute to hands-on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed.
• Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications.
• Provide technical guidance to other developers as needed.
• Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products.
• Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 yrs overall experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Appian Level 1 or 2 Certification required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, and APIs.
• Experience with integrations with external systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to scope Appian projects and provide accurate estimates.
• Attention to detail, strong design skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
