Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Appian Software Developer/Integrator to contribute to a DoD-wide TCPED OSINT platform. The role covers design, development, deployment, and operation, integrating existing and new tools with cloud, AI, ML, and cross-domain transfer systems.

On-site in Bethesda with flexible scheduling and occasional remote work. The candidate should have Appian experience, containerization skills, Python/Bash scripting, CI/CD tooling, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or a Master's with 6+ years.
• Experience with Appian.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Development and scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or Jenkins).
• Experience with Agile practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, deployment and operation of a DoD TCPED OSINT platform.
• Integrate off-the-shelf and new development efforts leveraging cloud, AI/ML, and cross-domain transfers.
• Deploy release candidates to production with a team of integration engineers.
• Participate in tests, staging, and production deployment activities.
• Maintain services and pipelines for big data with Kafka/Elasticsearch microservices on Kubernetes.
• Monitor automated tests and manage project priorities and deadlines.
• Foster collaboration to deliver high-quality results to the customer.
