Job summary

City of New York through the Finance Information Technology (FIT) Division seeks an experienced Appian Software Developer focusing on Release Management. You will manage the CI/CD pipelines, document release processes, and coordinate deployments across multiple applications and modules.

The role involves designing and delivering integrated low-code solutions on Appian, ensuring performance, security, and alignment with DOF business goals. Remote work up to 2 days per week may be available.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position; or,
• Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "A baccalaureate degree".

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Appian CI/CD pipeline and release processes.
• Define and document Appian release management, configuration management, deployment planning, and operational support activities.
• Coordinate releases across the Appian Platform for multiple applications and modules.
• Develop and execute strategies for Appian platform upgrades across non-production and production environments as needed.
• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade, integrated web and low-code applications using Appian and SAIl.
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and integrate with DOF’s business objectives.
