Job summary

NYC Department of Finance (DOF) is seeking an experienced Appian Software Developer focused on Release Management to join its Finance Information Technology (FIT) division in New York City.

The role involves defining Appian CI/CD pipelines, coordinating releases across multiple applications, and delivering enterprise low-code solutions that align with DOF objectives. Remote work up to two days per week may be available; strong DevOps, Appian, and web technologies are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus four years of related experience or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade software on low-code platforms.
• Strong Appian release management and DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Appian CI/CD pipeline and release processes.
• Document Appian release management, configuration management and deployment planning.
• Define and monitor Appian health checks and coordinate releases across the Platform.
• Develop strategies for Appian upgrades across environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Design and deploy integrated, scalable web and low-code solutions using Appian features.
