Job summary

Winston Retail in Dublin, GA seeks a Retail Merchandising Specialist to bring fashion to life at the store level. The role is an independent contractor position with flexible project-based hours, focusing on styling mannequins and creating on-brand displays.

You’ll work hands-on in stores, develop planograms, and deliver polished, trend-forward shopping experiences. Strong attention to detail and clear communication with store teams are essential; experience with mannequins and a portfolio are

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling).
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability.
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device.
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer; Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
