Job summary

1969 Disney Merchandise Sourcing & Dist., LLC seeks an Associate Sourcing Manager for Apparel to develop and manage supplier partnerships, drive costs, and steer product development from concept to production. You will work with MSPD and cross-functional teams to align with margin targets and corporate sourcing strategies.

The role involves global sourcing knowledge, collaboration across Merchandising Strategy, Product Design, and Technical Design, and occasional domestic/international travel

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related experience in specialty retail or consumer products.
• Experience with sourcing strategies and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of fabrics and garment manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple SKUs and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for assigned portfolio.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to drive cost optimization and timely product placement.
• Lead cost analyses and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with product safety and quality standards.
