Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking a Product Manager to lead full product development and sourcing lifecycle for assigned categories from concept to production. You will partner with Design, Merchandising, and Technical teams to translate concepts into commercially viable products while managing vendor strategy, cost negotiations, and production execution.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in apparel product development, strong communication, and a proven ability to work across DTC and wholesale.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in apparel product development and sourcing.
• Experience working directly with vendors and factories.
• Understanding of apparel development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Knowledge of fabric mills, garment construction, factory production flow, and quality checkpoints.
• Familiarity with product testing standards and factory compliance requirements.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Technical teams.
• Experience in fast-paced retail with seasonal development and speed-market initiatives.
• Experience supporting both DTC and wholesale models (DDP a plus).
• Strong negotiations, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end product development and sourcing lifecycle from concept to production.
• Own seasonal development milestones and calendar to ensure on-time execution.
• Partner with Design, Merchandising, and Technical teams to produce production-ready samples.
• Manage vendor allocation and cost negotiations to meet IMU targets.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships and onboard new vendors.
• Review seasonal projections with Demand Planning and align capacity planning.
• Monitor vendor performance across cost, quality, and delivery; address issues.
• Handle samples, approvals, development, and order placements using key tools.
