Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks an Apparel Sample Maker in Chicago, IL to construct and sew top-quality samples using a straight-needle sewing machine. You will assist in small lot cutting, interpret tech-pack instructions, and collaborate with Technical Design to improve sewing productivity and product quality.

A hands-on role with growth opportunities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong English reading and following verbal instructions are required; prior garment cutting/sewing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using a straight-needle sewing machine.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Experience cutting and sewing garments.

Job Description

Cintasis seeking an Apparel Sample Maker. Responsibilities include constructing and sewing top-quality samples using a straight-needle sewing machine; supporting and assisting in small lot cutting as needed; following verbal and written instructions from a tech package on how to construct garments; working closely with Technical Design and providing positive input and suggestions to improve sewing productivity and product quality.

Skills/Qualifications

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $18.40 - $22.98/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
