Job summary

Cintas Corporation provides apparel and facilities services. The Production Associate – Garment Processor role is based in Chicago, IL, for 2nd shift. You will inspect garments, apply trims, and perform cutting, sewing and hemming as needed to ensure quality and accurate packaging.

The position emphasizes basic English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for most of the shift. Sewing-machine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Production Associate – Garment Processor to work in our Distribution Center. Responsibilities include inspecting garments and trim items for correct color, scripting, size and quantity; applying emblems, ID tapes, barcodes, and/or other trims;cutting, sewingand hemminggarments as required.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• Basiclanguage and communication skills in speaking and understanding English
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours ofan 8 hour shift

• Industrial sewing experience
• 1+ years of experience operating a sewing machine

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $16.30 - $20.35/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
