Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a store associate for our Tooele, UT location to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, clean department environment. You will assist the department manager in meeting sales and profit goals while following quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities include answering customer questions, stocking and labeling products, and ensuring displays are fully stocked and attractive.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math tasks.
• Second language skills (speaking, reading and/or writing) are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and make suggestions to customers.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
• Stay current with ads and observe operating hours.
• Adhere to health, safety and civil codes.
• Maintain a clean, friendly and organized department.
• Support merchandising and display initiatives and keep displays stocked.
• Assist with safe operations and report any safety risks to management.
• Complete paperwork and follow company policies.
