Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Product Specialist to support product development from concept to production in a specified category. You will collaborate with designers, merchants, and vendors to move products through the development cycle and ensure alignment with brand standards and costs.

Ideal candidates have entry-level experience in product development, strong MS Office skills, and attention to detail.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Design, or Business.
• Entry level product development position with less than 3 years experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and validate potential new product opportunities.
• Coordinate development timeline from seasonal strategy to 1st PO receipts.
• Develop and document project scope and product specifications.
• Work with designers on technical packages for factories.
• Create cost analyses to understand baseline cost relative to margins at target retail price.
• Review BOM details to ensure costing and address roadblocks (costs, tooling, materials).
• Review samples and communicate revisions to factories.
• Upload final specs, costing, factory assignment, and development reviews into PLM.
• Provide field testers with final samples and develop testing requirements.
• Coordinate packaging with brand standards and prepare collateral materials.
• Coordinate with quality and vendors to schedule new product audits.
• Ensure accuracy and submission of new item forms.
• All other duties as assigned.
