Confidential in New York, NY is seeking a Product Development Associate to support end-to-end product development from concept through production, partnering with Design, Technical Design, Production, Textiles, Planning, Sales, and overseas vendors to ensure calendar adherence and timely delivery of samples.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 1–3 years of product development experience in apparel.
• Experience with women's ready-to-wear; multiple categories a plus.
• Working knowledge of PLM systems.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the product development lifecycle from concept through production.
• Manage seasonal Time & Action calendars and approvals.
• Source fabrics and trims for seasonal development.
• Issue comments on lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics and trims.
• Coordinate fabric, lab dips, trim, and sample requests and approvals.
• Maintain approval libraries for fabrics, lab dips, trims and samples.
• Communicate daily with overseas and domestic vendors, mills, and factories.
• Maintain product information in PLM systems including BOMs for factories.
• Prepare weekly status reports and participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Troubleshoot development challenges and scale solutions as needed.
• Build partnerships across Design, Technical Design, Production, Sales, Planning, Textiles.
• Support process improvements and operational efficiencies.
