Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Design Production, or a related apparel field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development within the fashion industry, focusing on apparel.
• Strong understanding of the fashion design and production process from concept to final product into production.
• Experience with CAD software, design tools, google sheets, power point and excel are a must.
• Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and the manufacturing processes including printing techniques, fit, grading, garment construction, and fabrications.
• Excellent project management skills with the capacity to manage multiple timelines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and handle fast-paced environments while maintaining a detail-oriented focus.

Responsibilities

• Guide development of apparel in multiple categories from concept to market delivery.
• Create initial specs for first development samples.
• Collaborate with design, technical, and production to ensure alignment with brand standards and on-time delivery.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape for strategy.
• Oversee the product development lifecycle and coordinate with design teams on details for quality and fit.
• Support development across multiple apparel categories.
• Manage sourcing of materials, fabrics, trims, and components with suppliers for timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain tech packs for new styles.
