Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Product Development Associate to support the end-to-end product development process from concept through production. This role partners with Design, Technical Design, Production, Textiles, Planning, Sales, and overseas vendors to ensure calendar adherence, product execution, and timely delivery of market and production samples.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of Product Development experience in apparel.
• Experience with women's ready-to-wear a plus.
• Working knowledge of PLM systems.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the product development lifecycle from concept through production.
• Manage and maintain seasonal Time & Action calendars.
• Source fabrics and trims to support seasonal development.
• Issue approval comments on lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics, and trims.
• Coordinate and track fabric, lab dips, strike-offs, trims and samples.
• Maintain approval libraries for fabrics, lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and samples.
• Communicate daily with overseas and domestic vendors, mills, and factories.
• Maintain PLM data and bulk Bills of Materials (BOMs) for factories.
• Prepare weekly status reports and participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Troubleshoot development challenges and elevate issues as needed.
• Build partnerships across Design, Technical Design, Production, Sales, Planning, and Textiles.
• Support process improvements and operational efficiencies.
