Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will style mannequins and displays to reflect brand identity and create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience.

Work hands-on in stores with flexible project-based hours as an Independent Contractor. You will report via the Winston App on a mobile device and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the shift.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling).
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines.
• Submit store visit reports, including before/after photos and feedback, using the Winston App on a smart device.
