Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate apparel merchandising specialist to bring fashion to life at the store level in Gaylord, MI. You will style mannequins, organize displays, and ensure visuals reflect the brand identity while enhancing the shopper experience.

This independent contractor role offers an hourly pay of $19-$22, varying project-based hours. You will work hands-on in stores, manage planograms, report results via the Winston App, and collaborate with store teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling).
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability.
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device.
