Job summary

Bealls Inc. is seeking a Production and Materials Manager for apparel to shape materials, partnerships, and production decisions across Exclusive Brands.

You will lead fabric sourcing and development, analyze costs and lead times, and guide materials and production approvals from concept through on-time delivery. You will partner with Design, Sourcing, mills, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality, compliance, and performance, while maintaining a current materials library in PLM and upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in apparel materials, production, sourcing, product development, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of global supply chains and the factors that influence cost, risk, quality, and delivery.
• Advanced PLM systems knowledge to build material library and maintain testing standards.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to turn information into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking, sound judgment, and strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills, with a proactive, self-directed approach.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external business partners.
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to develop solutions under aggressive deadlines.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities may evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead fabric sourcing and development for apparel across Exclusive Brands.
• Analyze costs and lead times; manage materials and production approvals from concept to on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Design, Sourcing, mills, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality, testing, and compliance.
• Maintain PLM materials library and testing standards; uphold ethics and safety standards.
• Own time-and-action calendar; ensure factories meet milestones and delivery deadlines.
• Partner with suppliers to uphold the company code of ethics and labor standards.
