Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time team member to support our mission by sorting and displaying clothing and processing donations.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, hang garments, count items, and maintain clean, safe spaces while following store procedures. Starting pay is $15/hour with raises and production bonuses, plus training, discounts, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required; strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Team players who keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Physically able to stand and move racks.
• Reliable, honest, respectful of others.
• Willing to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
• Group and rotate clothing using color tag system.
• Move clothing to and from the sales floor and keep displays neat.
• Count and report items processed daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by store procedures.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Assist with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

• This job keeps you moving! Most of the time, you'll be standing, using your hands, and reaching above and below your shoulders. Strong close and depth vision are essential.
