Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking team members to support donation processing, sorting, and cashiering in a fast-paced retail environment. You will contribute to community programs by helping to hang and display clothing, manage stock, and assist customers throughout the shift.

Starting pay is $15/hour with annual raises and production bonuses. We offer free training, career development, benefits, and discounts.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Team players who take pride in a clean, organized workspace.
• Physically able to stand, hang clothes, and move racks.
• Reliable, honest, and respectful of others.
• Willing to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Job keeps you moving: standing, using hands, reaching above/below shoulders; pulling, twisting, turning; lifting up to 10 lbs, up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
• Group and rotate clothing using color tag system.
• Move clothing to/from the sales floor and keep displays neat.
• Count and report items processed daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following store procedures.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Assist with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by store management.

You'll often pull, twist, and turn, with occasional talking, walking, pushing, bending, and stooping. Regularly lifting up to 10 pounds, and sometimes up to 50 pounds, is required. Strong close and depth vision are essential.
