Goodwill Industries of the Valleys is seeking a dedicated Retail Associate responsible for hanging apparel, transport, and maintaining security and maintenance of the facility. You will process donations, tag and rack apparel, and support quality control to uphold store standards.

The role emphasizes fast, accurate processing and excellent donor interactions, with a focus on safety and teamwork. Training opportunities are provided as part of ongoing in-service activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, team members, customers, and donors.
• Ability to work within a team situation.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Tag and size apparel and/or hang apparel onto racks by category.
• Assist with quality control assurance (tears, stains, wet, smelly, soiled, broken zippers, and missing buttons).
• Maintains accurate count with the goal of 60+ pieces per hour.
• Ensures positive donor and customer interaction by providing world class customer service.
• Demonstrates the principles of DURT with every donor interaction and uses the DURT Alert system to ensure all donors receive world class customer service.
• Follows safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Manager on Duty.
