Job summary

Centric Brands is seeking an Assistant Graphic Artist to support the Graphic Art Manager in developing apparel graphics and prints. You will create original artwork, revise designs, and prepare production-ready files while maintaining organized libraries and meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, 1–2 years of apparel graphic experience, and familiarity with printing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Arts or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant apparel graphic/print design experience.
• Familiarity with printing processes and fabric limitations.
• Strong listening and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Self-starter who works independently and accepts feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support the Graphic Art Manager during style reviews and meetings by taking detailed notes.
• Indexing & color separating artwork and prints for efficient recoloring and production-ready files.
• Create and revise original artwork, print repeats, and existing graphics.
• Assist in creating art charts for tech packs with technical callouts; PLM training provided.
• Update and maintain PLM data throughout development and production.
• Maintain organized digital and physical artwork libraries.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for innovation using AI and emerging tools.
• Stay current on design trends and printing techniques.
