Job summary

Footprint Project is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to manage the Mars Hill warehouse, oversee the renewable energy fleet, and coordinate logistics and procurement across the U.S., with focus on the Appalachia hub.

This full-time, on-site role requires experience in warehouse operations, fleet management, and strong organizational skills. Travel and hands-on problem solving are part of the job in a growing nonprofit focused on clean energy and disaster response.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment with knowledge of operations, fleet management, or logistics.
• Valid drivers license.
• Must lift and move at least 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Appalachia team in maintaining accurate inventory of sustainable response technologies.
• Lead Appalachia hub warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Lead Appalachia hub in retrieving technology assets.
• Manage fleet inventory, QA, and logistics for Appalachia Hub.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of renewable energy assets at Mars Hill.
• Maintain facilities: trash removal, restocking, cleaning.
• Support New Orleans-based Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator in managing assets across the U.S.
• Inspect, maintain, and manage warehouse equipment, vehicles, trailers.
• Liaise with vendors and manage inbound/outbound shipments.
• Keep detailed records and provide status updates on shipments.
