Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in West Michigan is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our urgent care team. This part-time role requires 3+ years of urgent care experience, state license, DEA, and board certification.

You will work Monday–Sunday 8:00 am–8:00 pm with rotating shifts, travel between Grand Rapids and Muskegon offices, and collaborate with physicians, NPs, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for APRN/PA roles.
• Graduation from an accredited NP/PA program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in urgent care settings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays).
• Perform minor procedures and immunizations.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• 3+ years' experience in an urgent care setting
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
• Master's Degree
• State of Michigan License and DEA
• ACLS and BLS Certification

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Evaluating and treating both pediatric and adult patients with acute, non-emergent conditions
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work
• Performing minor procedures such as wound care and splinting
• Conducting physical exams and immunizations
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Utilizing EMR systems for accurate documentation and efficient workflow
