Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Ann Arbor, MI seeks an experienced PA or NP to join the Hematology/Oncology team. The role focuses on direct patient care, collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, and participation in teaching and mentoring.

The successful candidate will document in Epic EMR, engage in quality improvement, support community health efforts, and cover infusions as needed. Board certification and MI license are required.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (ONCC/ACNP credentials preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology.
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA license required.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Hematology/Oncology service line.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of residents, medical students, and fellows.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the Epic EMR.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts.
• Support infusion center operations and community health outreach.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (ACNP, ONCC, ACAGNP credentials only) ONCC and/or ACNP preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology required.
• Please confirm relevant clinical experience required No specific requirements.
• Physicians shall be board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained) Yes, ACLS/BLS required
