Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Urgent Care in Iowa seeks an experienced NP or PA to staff a high-volume urgent care clinic. You will provide acute care services within a fast-paced setting, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and compassionate patient-centered care.

Full-time employment, 12-hour shifts, and a schedule that covers Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, plus weekend hours and holiday variations. Iowa licensure and prescribing authority required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Nurse Practitioner Program or accredited Physician Assistant Training Program.
• Iowa licensure required.
• Possesses Federal and State Controlled Substance prescribing authority.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification, BLS, Mandatory Reporter.
• EOE/drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Staff busy urgent care as NP/PA.
• Work 12 hour shifts.
• Clinic hours Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, weekends 10am-6pm; holidays vary.
