Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Application Performance Analyst to design and maintain monitoring for complex software systems in a demanding environment. You will define KPIs, establish thresholds, and build alerting to proactively detect issues.

Responsibilities include collaborating with production support teams, ensuring timely performance indicators, and driving continuous improvements in monitoring capabilities to support business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IT monitoring dashboards/alerts using Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Experience with Java/.NET programming languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technical skills quickly; manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated application monitoring for detection and diagnosis of performance and availability issues.
• Define KPIs, control limits, and health dashboards; set thresholds for proactive alerts.
• Own timelines and accuracy of application performance indicators and notifications.
