Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan seeks a Pediatrician for its extended hours program. This 0.8 FTE role includes clinic evenings 4:00 PM–9:00 PM on weekdays and weekend coverage, with 1–2 weekends per month, no call duties, and two pediatric sites in Livonia and Ann Arbor.

You will practice scheduled pediatric care, collaborate with a experienced team, and use EPIC/MyChart to coordinate care for families.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician.
• Active Michigan Medical License or license eligibility.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric primary care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
• EPIC experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children and adolescents.
• Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct well-child visits and preventive care appointments.
• Manage chronic pediatric conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and staff.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and care coordination.
• Support quality improvement and population health goals.
• Deliver exceptional patient- and family-centered care.

Opportunity Details

FTE: 0.8
Schedule: Varies, clinic open Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-9:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 12:00 PM-8:00 PM
Locations: Schoolcraft Livonia and Dominos Farms Ann Arbor
