Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient care to hospitalized children, including newborn delivery attendance. You will work with the ED and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, family-centered care in a supportive environment.

The schedule is a mix of day and night shifts with a 0.60 FTE commitment, offering flexible planning and opportunities for professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain.
• DEA license required.
• PALS/NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care.
• Delivery attendance for newborns.
• Perform circumcisions; training available for cert-in-progress candidates.
• ED pediatric consults.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participating in teaching and mentoring.
• Documenting in Epic EMR.
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives.
• Supporting community health efforts.

As a valued member of our team, you will serve as a Pediatric Hospitalist providing comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized children, including newborn care and delivery attendance. You will collaborate closely with the Emergency Department, as well as a multidisciplinary care teamincluding nursing staff, case management, social work, and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality, family-centered care across the continuum of pediatric hospital medicine.
